The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night Time
This book is about a boy who is autistic named Christopher Boone who had problem communicating with people which makes the book interesting as it is about a world of autism. Christopher is especially strong in Mathematics and is able to do difficult sums quickly making him truly a genius. The story started when the neighbour's dog got murdered, being a dog lover, Christopher set out on the mysterious case only to be stopped by his father. Soon after, the mystery behind the 'death' of his mother unveiled itself, which turned the story around as his father revealed that he was the one who murdered the dog. Feeling intimidated by his father, Christopher ran away from home in search for his mother.
I did not really liked the story as the climax was not very exciting and the story was left on a cliffhanger. However, the content of the story was interesting and unique as it was full of different arcs moving from the mystery of a dead dog to the mystery of the "death" of his mother. The ending was awkward as it did not really show what happened to Christopher's father, and readers would anticipate that there would be happy reunion although there was none. Overall, the story is a special one as it turns onto Christopher's point of view, the story was told in the way Christopher would say it, the sentences was repeated again and again like an autistic child would.
